The official Zippo events began with the first National Zippo Day Celebration in 1994. 
National Zippo Day has been celebrated every year since, either on its own or 
as a component of the Swap Meet. The first Zippo/Case International Swap Meet was held
in 1995 and was held annually until 1998, when the Swap Meet was changed 
to be a biennial celebration.
