After having already introduced the tape measure in 1962 and the magnifier in 1976 the 3rd variation of this metal case was introduced to the product line in 1981: the spillproof pillbox.  Three different version were available, no. 6950 (brush chrome), 6955 (high polish chrome) and 6960 (high polish chrome with ivory ultralite acrylic chips). Due to poor sales the pillbox was discontinued by the end of the 80's .

Hard to find plain high polish chrome versions of the rule, the pill box and the magnifier, of which the pillbox definitely was & still is the hardest one to find.
